To become well-rounded, K2L believes it is important that students learn throws, joint manipulation, and submission techniques and be prepared to better defend themselves no matter where the altercation happens, standing or on the ground.
Students will learn a variety of submission techniques such as the ARM BAR, KIMURA, GUILOTINE, REAR NAKED CHOKE, TRIANGLE, AMERICANER, OMOPLATA, and more. K2L Martial Arts BJJ is sanctioned through the IBJJF Federation and all students are able to rank advance after meeting requirements for each rank. K2L also encourages BJJ students to enter local and regional tournaments to test their skills against other students the same age, rank, and weight as them.
